Wouldn't it have been better if the top textures were actually modifiable with the material/advanced material tool instead?

So that it could possibly blend with the environment, that is.

the goal isn't to blend it with the environment. it's an apc deployment hatch, should be an obvious boundary so people don't stand on it.

well i'm mimicking the elevator design from Prey 2017

if it's an ic thing that cp's are gonna use i'd recommend changing to "deploy apc" rather than spawn if it fits on the board

Ye it just lacks a frame like the silver one in that image, it would look slightly better if you can add something similar. Other than that it looks great.

beware it looks bad with HDR lighting on in this map, so i turned it off (screen is pretty bright)
but deal with it.
i turned off hdr for the screenshot

might wanna make terminal background a bit darker to fit in with combine colour scheme maybes, other than that looks great

holy fuck, just read the whole thread. everything you have done has made me so horny. i will be using this thread as my goddamn wank bank for months to come.

Toned the button text color down a bit to a grey, and now added some rollover sounds for the buttons.



Maybe later when I feel like doing hard work I'll make the buttons clickable and have some kind of submenu, and make popup input boxes in the center of the screen.

wow nvidia shadowplay ruined the quality of the button sounds. they sound much better than that, sorry
