different bases, internal conflicts, transhuman arm seen as the polar opposite of cops in terms of organisational skills and hierarchy

almost comes off like ota is using high command as a very fucking cruel way to tell which cops are strong enough to become transhumans by putting them into an intentional power struggle amongst themselves like some fucking king of the hill type shit, strongest become stronger and leave behind the political hellscape in the process

some high ranking cop in high command suddenly gets blackbagged by ota and is never seen again, power vacuum ensues

Yeah I like this way more than trying to integrate OTA with cops command, leaving them as a separate being that only gives a fuck about their own internal structure and EOWs exist to abduct and augment cops alongside whatever super important shit they pull alongside operations involving them both being a good time for OW Soldiers to highlight any cops they think performed the best and have the two interact where they otherwise wouldn't, remembering that OTA is now way more characterised than they were in the past

i prefer the prospect of being able to climb the ladder in my own way instead of just patrolling for x hours until I've gained enough brownie points to be allowed to get more numbers

am i allowed to take the RL out back and shoot them in the head if i consider them an incompetent leader and want a slot opened up for myself or one of my CP friends to replace them

Well that sorta stuff is out of my jurisdiction but afaik RLs are also given a lot of OOC responsibility and are meant to be the best role models the faction can offer for new units. so when they get PK’d usually they’re given a new RL to take their place is the standard rn.. slots exist tho and are in the process of being filled by others without prior experience as we speak

I feel if an RL is killed legitimately, there should be a cooldown before they get another RL character (Since it's not like there's no longer any Rank Leaders). Just to add to the tension that a Rank Leader just got killed by a cop and people feel the effects of loosing them.
