95% of communication is VC, the only people who speak in text are those who don't have a mic or are too shy lol
the text is also placed above player's heads and easy to miss, also holding tab shows you a backlog of messages
also there's the case of no mic no life, a fundamental rule in life during heated moments where u lose free rp due to no mic

At last, Flesh and Blood
This time, as a former HL2RP player. The fool

I must start random fights with cop players

I must hoard goods for myself

I must be as disruptive as possible

First time playing a corpsman properly.

Been casually walking around, healing people, chatting to guards and shopkeepers,
tricking proles into glue addictions.

life was good.

Then wartime came.
Reggie was right, that shit is traumatic for corpsman players lmao.

every time a prole accidentally shanks a guy with a screwdriver, I'm staring at my blood count wondering if I can survive the next wave of lads running begging for heals.
I have to force a rule of only healing when proles bleed, to keep pace with the injuries, some ignore me, yapping for more healing while the next wave of wounded proles come over.

A bomb lands in the factory, killing a table of proles, I was monitoring for injuries so I saw several people die in one hit, sanity goes from 100 to 0 in a second.

a giant wave of proles run to me for healing,
I'm holding them back, trying to regen enough drops of blood to heal them without dropping dead.

Start puffing cigarettes to cope throughout the wartime shift.

in the end I walk out with 10 extra amnecytes, 100 credits, and a crippling cigarette addiction.

I've had to start smuggling sanity medication to the underground in exchange for bulk supplies of nicotine.

SO! I pulled the trigger on it and lemme just take yall through my first 90 minutes (note, I know basically nothing about how to play the game)

Life 1 - I run around a bit aimlessly, there is a war on so Im just getting to grips with the controls and everything. Then I get the war factory up on my gps and start going towards it. I see a big fancy building and think "Well this is weird for a factory but it says its this way- is that a gun up there? DEATH"

Life 2 - I continue to mill around a little bit, find my way to the laundry but theres nothing to do. However, a merchant comes up that is CERTAINLY not suspicious and asks if anyone wants to do a job for him. I know this isnt going to end well. He takes me and 3 others to the sewers and has a friendly hostage trade with the scum. The rest of the group runs but I dont, the scum run past me... asides one. I just aimlessly follow him and say I will be a near-willing slave as long as he doesnt take me to the sacrifice pit... well, long story short I had to do it for the greater good. Last words - "The light looks so pret- DEATH"

Life 3 - This one is a bit more goal oriented! I finally get to do some loads of washing at the laundry so thats fun, do a ration cycle (it took me a LONG time to put the thing in my inventory but it did not get stolen!). War time, it takes me about half the shift to figure out how to equip my screwdriver. Scum comes through and kills nearly everyone inside asides me, I take a break outside and then come back in to continue the war effort. Go to the club a couple times, hopped into a dumpster with John Marston the medic during the dark times. I go to the metal works after some searching and mine one node before noticing I am CRITICALLY low on thirst. Thankfully I run out and have only taken a little damage before I find a vending machine (everyone I passed had nothing). "Neat, finally something to quench my thirst... this is the cheapest one so I'll ju- DEATH"

Moral of the story - Don't trust capitalism or vending machines

Imma be real I could NOT read the font on the vending machine so I just shrugged and didnt think about it too hard...

Plus I drank the thing the SECOND it came out of the slot because I was actively dying from thirst... I even saw someone start looting my corpse the moment I keeled over

Little tip, to save on health- only tap them once to heal the bleed to make your own health last,

or in other words spam F on a wounded character so that you'll have a purpose to grind points for to re-become a medic again after killing yourself by healing another
