quite fun how so many nebuloids jumped to ttrpg spaces, myself included haha
TTRPG's really just scratch that ich. You get all the build up and RP with PEAK kino segments all concentrated in 4-6 hours a week (or twice a week) instead of diluted over the better time of 3 months where it could all be taken away in a second. That said it still was a blast.

can you tell me why you guys got the event team rank gimped permanently over spawning a spas-12

you were staff for feck's sake, why did they even change the event rank
Honestly it was too far in I have no recollection of why that even happened, I think maybe it was a reward for an event or something regardless all I know is event staff was fun and wished it had more power and getting promoted to event management was soul sucking and sad cause we couldn't actually run shit most of the time

(Good training for irl management tho so I'll take it)

Haven't shotguns have always been kind of royalty among HL2RP weapons, SPAS-12 especially? I honestly don't remember post-Clockwork if shotguns were even allowed to enter item economy through any means other than OTA getting got.

helix was, in hindsight, a downgrade from Clockwork in terms of economy. Mostly due to the removal of BMD if I am correct. Getting an MP7 or a USP was a rarity and extremely grind-heavy, same thing with ammo.

Having @Numbers iteration be extremely free in its economy was a breath of fresh air. All HL2RP servers would have a strict economy of rebels getting essentially no guns outside of events, and even if they do, it would be some junk gun that was terrible.

having the kar98, the only bolt action on the server at the time, be perpetually locked away because 'it will one shot a transhuman to the head' was retarded and I stand by that.

A major reason for people burning out and leaving the server was the "status quo".

The server really should've done stuff akin to how Willard has come to (and had been endlessly yelled in suggestions):

Give players a major impact on story events and otherwise. Like, to the point where player actions can cause map change events early, or mass death / interesting situations. An incompetent city administration that has 50 shotcops an hour would obviously be removed etc.

Like that's a major reason people were put off/lost motivation, I know of quite a few friends/etc I have that left neb specifically due to that. Once they get a look inside and realise none of their actions have any impact on server stuff outside of self-contained events even in the semi-short-term? They lose interest quick.
