If you wanted your fill of s2k and army themed roleplay then go to ww3rp.
Quill banned conscript events mostly because he didnt want to step into ww3rp territory.

They don't even belong in a CITY map and even then, conscripts were a mess during heavy snow, that I can confirm.

its that the themes that conscripts present either don't belong in hl2 or are already subsumed by existing entities within the lore such as civil protection and the transhuman arm

like all beta concepts they shouldn't exist in modern hl2

conscripts were a mess in heavy snow because they were poorly managed and ranks were given out like candy. 3/4 of the people shouldn't have the ranks that they've had, not to add that there was a fuckton of meme characters

during dallas' events conscripts were managed by competent people who know what they were doing and meme characters weren't even allowed, and if someone made one then he was punished for it

I like conscripts a lot, but they don’t work on the main server. I rather do events for citizen with temporary conscription or just an event where you start as a conscript (closed events) also they are good as antagonists.

If we had the admin box like D47 I would have loved to re have something like the india company back because It wasn’t a whitelist, but it was a list of people I could use for events. But here there’s no space for that.

i personally disagree with conscripts but that doesn't mean that very comparatively mild military-themed roleplay simply cannot be supported on the hl2 server

they may be used during closed events or 110 slotters (something like revolution / toride / conflict) but that's all

as long as meme characters will be banned and ranks wont be given out to retards then it should be fine
