The issue with Western cultures is that all civilized people who want a better life decide they don't want to go through the hardwork, blood, sweat and wars that Western countries had to fight in order to secure their destiny of liberty and wealth.

USA fought off the British to secure their freedom.
Canada fought under the British in WW1 to secure their independence at Vimy Ridge, the Somme and other battefields.
France fought the Monarchy to over-throw their Monarchic autocracy.
The British fought to have a Parliament and take power from the Kingdom of England.
The Germans fought to unite and confederate under a German empire, then kept fighting to re-establish different governments after the Empire didn't quite pan out, but hey, they eventually got it right...-ish.

My point is not that Turkey sucks, or that all these civilizations suck, it's just that clearly they aren't organizing and putting in the effort to reach the point of enlightenment that early classical liberal philosophers had to put in motion the ground works for a remarkable governmental foundation found within the United States and other countries.

People rather leave their ass-backwards country to flee to a better one than to actually educate and inform the people around them to try and have a quiet revolution of their own, or proceed to bring down the corrupt tyranny that currently rules over them.

We can take the piss out of the U.S. all we want, but they're the only ones who have actively fought for democratic freedoms and Western values in other countries and mount efforts to coup countries held firmly by the iron fists of dictators.

Hell my country is a shithole but I do get up and go help the veterans from the colonial war that suffer from PTSD and bang their heads on the walls asking why did they see their mate's legg blow up and standed there helpless,I do go and buy food for the food bank since my country is known to have a bigger unemployed rate then your country,fuck we even see guys in suits coming to the food banks saying that if they want to look miserable at least they get to use their suits maybe someone will hire them for it. It doesn't matter how much your country can be a shithole,fucks sake mine could be considered the laughting stock for german and austrian people yet we work more hours then they do,we try to go throught everyday knowing our gov is in this eternal fight to fuck our country even more, but when I look to my flag I remember that for whatever happens I am portuguese and we can't give up on our country when it needs us.

you really don't know why Turkey is a bad country at the moment, it's not something you can fix by working really hard in your school or fighting for it. it is so fucking corrupt at the moment there are soldiers who has been sent to east to defend the borders against pkk ypg isis daeş anything you ask and they don't even have ammo. but the terrorists even aren't the biggest problems, we literally have so many bad people as leaders that some of them assist terrorist groups and some of them just cares about money, they are selling our country so they can have the best life they could ever have. I am not even talking about how some Turkish people bad are, if you really want to fix this country you need to get rid of thousands of people and that's something I can't do.
