congratulationsOkay,, yeah I brought the full index kit and HL:A
![]()
I saved up for a year for VR, guess now is as good of a time as any
yo what if Eli's death fucked up the timeline of HL2 and wasn't supposed to happen, so Gman goes to Alyx in the past to prevent Freeman's fuckup, seeing as Freeman wasn't meant to be out of stasis for the events after base HL2 - it's the Vorts that break him out of stasis after all, so I imagine his presence fucked up whatever great plan ol' HDman had in the first place"Alyx Vance alone cannot not prevent his fate" right before "Don't open your eyes honey"
oh god oh fuck
kinda hoping there is no time travel.yo what if Eli's death fucked up the timeline of HL2 and wasn't supposed to happen, so Gman goes to Alyx in the past to prevent Freeman's fuckup, seeing as Freeman wasn't meant to be out of stasis for the events after base HL2 - it's the Vorts that break him out of stasis after all, so I imagine his presence fucked up whatever great plan ol' HDman had in the first place
It's the Gman and the Vorts we're talking about here, not anyone else really. We've known they exist outside of the normal realms of time and space since Half-Life 2, it's really not something that should come of a surprise.kinda hoping there is no time travel.
Kinda sucks the tension out of things if the plot just means you go back to unfuck things that went wrong.
i mean, it would be a high stakes story with a twist at the end. You are essentally releasing earth of the combines grip while under the guise that you are merely taking the first step towards that goal.kinda hoping there is no time travel.

yeah but we've only seen them be able to put people 'on hold' or pause time. not really go forwards or backwards. It's the Gman and the Vorts we're talking about here, not anyone else really. the crazy vort stuff in the trailer indicates that it'll be anything but routine
I mean there's no way to know if they wait or if they flash forward, after all a week goes on between HL2 and HL2:EP1yeah but we've only seen them be able to put people 'on hold' or pause time. not really go forwards or backwards.
Even though they can stop time, it seems like they still have to obey the flow of time and have to wait.
They cannot manipulate time, but space.I mean there's no way to know if they wait or if they flash forward, after all a week goes on between HL2 and HL2:EP1
Even then, outside of them there's still iirc the literal flash forward that happens in HL2 when they use the Combine Teleporter in the Citadel and flash forward two weeks if memory serves. Time travel in the game itself.
And voiced by the man himself??ngl
i cant wait to see how vortigaunts will look with the new source engine
if possible, we must obtain themngl

Not HL:A RP, HL2:RP - Pre-Citadelif possible, we must obtain them
Actually scratch that, HL:A RP when
Also, I'm replaying the Half Life Games and Black Mesa and a vortigaunt says "Eli Vance is indispensable to the liberation." I feel like this may just be right.yo what if Eli's death fucked up the timeline of HL2 and wasn't supposed to happen, so Gman goes to Alyx in the past to prevent Freeman's fuckup, seeing as Freeman wasn't meant to be out of stasis for the events after base HL2 - it's the Vorts that break him out of stasis after all, so I imagine his presence fucked up whatever great plan ol' HDman had in the first place
