good, it's an awful glob of discordant ideas written by people who hate each other, it should be ignored.
actually fucking true
a huge chunk of "umm combine security" is founded upon "uh... we win actually" mentality
scrub your brains, roleplayers, acknowledge new concepts
I quote these two messages but I could quote many more.
I don't like how Combine players can have this type of stuff done to them and if they complain about it cause it's never been that way, people can just group bully them into accepting it all by mocking them publicly in these threads (which is what all these posts are achieving, nothing else).
This was no new concept we brought in. This wasn't even possible OOCly by the add-on's inner workings, a staff member had to drive it on an Overwatch char. I get we are changing things and I like it, but I would like to have these changes done properly and not at the expense of the players' enjoyment and fair play.
Nobody's saying this shouldn't be a thing- We can make it be and I think we're mostly in favor of it. But it's not about staff or the iteration, it's about the players being neglected when these things are done to them. We keep ranting about how this is just a videogame and we all have to enjoy it but if you're not fair to both sides then one of those sides will have no enjoyment and will have to seek it in some other way.
If you want some lore reason, just say that they shove out the new equipment so fast that they don't have the time or resources to biolock (Luxury of Union-Controlled Times) and it's deemed a waste of time and resources as Union forced burn through weaponry quickly regardless.
Since, well, it's a war, why would you spend a bunch of time shoving out biolocks when you could be using that time on producing another cheap, poor quality pistol or something
We don't even need any lore reason bro just for whatever setting that blocks players that are not Combine to change and the ability to lock the main hub (driver/gunner), and to tell everyone the "biolocked" bullshit was never a thing in this iteration
BEFORE we bend the known rules of the game against them. That's all really.
