most were actually teenagers my friend, i was 17 when I first got OTA and most people were around 16-20, the age limit to apply used to be something like if remember correctly 15-16

im thankful for nebulous because whenever i fear that i may be an embarrassment due to my life choices i can at the very least take solace in the fact that i wasnt being a nazi on a garry's mod roleplaying community

it went pretty deep, the main reason we rebranded the commissioners to the OSD was because OMSO (Overwatch Main Security Office) was apparently a play on the Reich Main Security Office. all of the rank insignias our old rosters used were also apparently SS or some other nazi military rank insignias as well.

I wasn't very happy learning about all that, I had always figured they were custom made but nope, just nazi symbolism lol. I don't like the fact I'm now forever tied to that shit, even though I was unaware of the origin behind those icons it still feels icky.
