I think you severely underestimate how much stuff there is to clean in a room with 2 bunks, 1 bath, toilet, 4 closets stacked with gear, clothes, and other stuff

I spent a few months working in-between "basic" and specialization so I got re-issued everything, clothing included

so I have an extra set of everything bar a few clothing items that I don't wear/can't wear anyways

so the sets of clothing that I have in the closet have been there for 2 months now, untouched, because I just use the old clothing I got issued instead to make sure I never have to touch the closet when it comes to making it neat and orderly

being lazy means only having to do it once because you do it cleverly the first time around

You have to come to terms with the realization that if the Sergeants want to find something during inspection they will find something. So all you can do is take the beating standing if they decide they want to fuck you
