Sex isn't all it's cracked up to be in pop culture and yeah I'd wager that ''''society'''' as a whole is more obsessed with it than they should be cause there are more important things in life but sex in itself is by no means terrible, bad or something to be avoided.
Even if it's a quick pump and dump or part of a much larger, romantic relationship, sex is fun when you're young, a lot of people want it because it feels good, it's literally just programmed into brain from years of mad dogging as cavemen to wanna go at it every now and then. My only problem I guess is if you keep up the whole casual thing much later into life, when you start hitting your 30s and 40s, one day you're gonna have to settle down and when you do you'll be sad you didn't find a true partner sooner.
No one is bad for wanting a shag, though.
My first time was the most awkward, embarrassing thing to ever happen lmfao and I'm sure I'm not alone with that experience, so if that's what people are worried about my only advice is 'yeah it's gonna be awkward but you'll be twice as good next time, and ten times better after that'.
