don't really enjoy/not interested 'roleplaying' with the other side, especially when I know how it concludesah, I see you don't play a character. carry on then

I'm not sure you're interested in 'roleplaying' at all considering your reply, but you do youdon't really enjoy/not interested 'roleplaying' with the other side, especially when I know how it concludes
dude it's so much fun to get /me searched and /me takes away your weapons that's really what I look forward to in a 'roleplay' encounterI'm not sure you're interested in 'roleplaying' at all considering your reply, but you do you
yeah, that's what happened to the people we were interacting with before you came up. totally weren't speaking to them until you radio'd our location and we had to deal with that insteaddude it's so much fun to get /me searched and /me takes away your weapons that's really what I look forward to in a 'roleplay' encounter
The only precedent there is is that OOCly protected zones need auths - which the villa is not and it was explained to us as well that the base will be not protected in any way from rebel counterattacks after we take it.especially given the precedent of raids
the precedent was set when the past two times that area was fought over was with raid announcements and had been informed and discussed with by server staff and leadership on both sides. it doesn't matter what happened on previous maps, but a precedent was made with the raid announcement system, and the fact that the very location where this incident occurred has been fought and defended twice in large, advertised, raids. The only precedent there is is that OOCly protected zones need auths - which the villa is not and it was explained to us as well that the base will be not protected in any way from rebel counterattacks after we take.
One (1) map out of the previous 6 had a system which had announcements done.
I think what you have just said exemplifies why this particular proposal for a rule change should be implemented.I'm not really concerned about living/dying when I know the only consequence is NLR
I don't necessarily think this rule change would even apply to me, or that I necessarily agree with the rule change. I was in an area/part of the map that I, and most other people was under 'rebel control', and I assumed that I would be safe running through that area. Why would I, with what I have on my character, and my character's ideology and belief willfully surrender to patrol of transhumans. I wholeheartedly believe that my character, CJ, would rather die than risk capture. Now, that is how I would justify it ICly, but OOCly I know that I'd lose all of my very valuable and powerful scripts to OTA, which would then use my scripts on me the next encounter we have with them, and that I could simply avoid that by dying/running away.I think what you have just said exemplifies why this particular proposal for a rule change should be implemented.
we established (I think) during the last staff meeting that fog should be permanently onthe abuse of weather to give one side or the other an unfair advantage has gotta stop
this was established in the staff meeting, like ovxy said. it was rolled out todaythe abuse of weather to give one side or the other an unfair advantage has gotta stop
while on top of the villa, just scouting, a couple of us were watching OTA/combine movements when suddenly the fog was cranked up to 100%, and rain was turned on. a few moments later, we were swarmed by OTA and fucked.we established (I think) during the last staff meeting that fog should be permanently on
is this not happening? wasn’t on today
Skill issue, clearlywhile on top of the villa, just scouting, a couple of us were watching OTA/combine movements when suddenly the fog was cranked up to 100%, and rain was turned on. a few moments later, we were swarmed by OTA and fucked.
(fog was already on before)
We were on the move prior to the fog being turned up, I can assure you that we have had no involvement with the increasing of the fog and it does hurt us as well as it required us to move to the villa to stop your scouting instead of simply discouraging you from afar.while on top of the villa, just scouting, a couple of us were watching OTA/combine movements when suddenly the fog was cranked up to 100%, and rain was turned on. a few moments later, we were swarmed by OTA and fucked.

i can't prove anything, but the circumstances surrounding it don't seem excusable as some sort of coincidence, especially when one of the people at the villa was discussing our positioning and where we could and could not shoot shortly before the weather was cranked up to 11.We were on the move prior to the fog being turned up, I can assure you that we have had no involvement with the increasing of the fog and it does hurt us as well as it required us to move to the villa to stop your scouting instead of simply discouraging you from afar.
It likely occurs for the inverse effect, Fog means rebels have less long-range options making patrols more appealing and hence patrols happen when fog gets turned up.It happened a lot in the Alps, fog turned on at extreme distances, a patrol or raid happens right after
