I feel robbed that we will never have anything like this in HL2RP, City, Outlands or otherwise. Its the same feeling I had when I watched his ANTI-CITIZEN animation but several times stronger.
You're telling me not one unit went rogue and competed in the race with the APC?![]()
cop mains when they see ten volkswagen golf speeding through the city at 200 km/h
if a cop wants to participate they are more than welcomeYou're telling me not one unit went rogue and competed in the race with the APC?
Reprimanded unless they win.if a cop wants to participate they are more than welcome
they will surely be reprimanded on return to their base but that’s their cross to bare
it wouldn’t surprise me if the entire race comes to a stop five seconds in because the front runner crashed going up the bridge and causes a pileupReprimanded unless they win.
Promotion to RL if they embarrass rebels with their pro driving skills.
To be honest, I've had people who've watched some really fucked up shit feeling queasy after the impassionate slaughter that the Rebels are on the receiving end of. Its quite a jump from the usual one or two shot kills or background framing TPG used up until now. I'm almost certain this was done to represent a narrative escalation combined with how eerie the building that the animation is set in is. The Resistance members react with just as much shock as the audience is expected to minus the one guy whose taken on Overwatch before. It makes it really hard to give this the appreciation I think it ought to deserve just because of how unironically triggering it was to watch.
I'm sure some unfunny cunt is going to point and laugh at me for being easily unsettled but I am genuinely not this easily disturbed & the warning in the video was far too ambiguous to be servicable. Not that TPG could really do anything other than like, maybe be a bit more hands-on w/ cutting between shots and limiting the exposure, but I guess I just needed a place to vent about this because damn that video fucked me up.
Nah to be fair Anti-Citizens had one of the most brutal gunfight sequences I've ever seen, his direction style is similar to Craig Zahler in that sense, people just get FUCKED UP out of the blue, kino.To be honest, I've had people who've watched some really fucked up shit feeling queasy after the impassionate slaughter that the Rebels are on the receiving end of. I'm sure most his other animations will be far more reserved with the gore than this one now that the escalation is clear, combined with other people who have criticised just how unrelenting it is with the violence.
we did, this is almost shot for shot a drug-bust event that @Blue Wolf did and i helped out with including the antsy music and the bit in the APC. just no alien guy on a counterI feel robbed that we will never have anything like this in HL2RP, City, Outlands or otherwise. What poses? Do you have them still?Lewis made his poses, made clear "these will never work for the basis of any kind of RP" in a post and then everyone jumped on the ideas so hard we got flooded with suggestions related to them for like two years afterwards.

its a more realistic interpretation of how much damage getting shot actually does to your bodyI love anything Half-Life related and anything TPG makes, but in retrospect I really, really wish I would have known just how viscerally violent this video was going to be because the sheer amount of shock that I am still processing is reminiscent of a time when someone maliciously sent me a video that spontaneously cut to (TW: suicide) the guy on Twitch blowing his head off with a shotgun on livestream. It makes me wish I never watched it in the first place.
