Foreign Correspondents are still a position within the Terminal for those who want to take it up. I have to say that you are wrong about there is no dark underside, because there are people within the Terminal who will take bribes or drop stories if their friends tell them to, within rogue auths. We also have a rogue auths system for those who want to apply to do some more extreme things. From what I'm aware, the Foreign Correspondent is gone.
Other than that, I don't think much (if anything) has really changed, as it's the same old 'X goes into the city, Red Armband and Pin' to either take pictures or find recent events to write down. There's next to nothing else in the faction that I've seen actually happen, like nothing major lore-wise. There's no BEFEHEL or CASS, there's no 'dark underside', the faction's main 'fun' is writing up what is essentially downgraded lore documents.
The personal beliefs and views in articles is still present, and the most prominent figure in that sort was Isaac Powers, who I believe caused the most drama in the faction I've ever seen due to the outrageously different opinions he had, as well as his overall attitude and demeanour being so wild it made him essentially a martyr for free speech in my eyes.
That, and @Evie having her ex-Terminal member (turned CAB) have his tongue cut out by rebels.
I personally have also done some underground things on my Terminal worker before, having rogue auths on my first worker before I became a lead. Articles are no longer forced to be the same attitude, and if you take a look at the section you'll see how many opinion pieces there are and even a slander piece on a Doctor that one of our writers didn't like. I've put less restrictions on the faction and allowed them to write what they want with the base rules staying the same as they always have. I don't know if I've been successful, but I'd like to think I have.
