My facial hair has always been like this, but even so I can't shave regularly because the skin of my face just like my hands is super sensitive, which goes really bad with a full hard beard.

Oh yeah that's a bad idea LOL
use a cooling moisturizer after shaving, it'll get rid of any bloated/red skin and not make it be itchy

also recommend using shaving foam if you don't already, Gillette has some alright stuff which is pretty cheap

Yeah I use both, special ones for sensitive skin and all, still itches and stuff. I guess I'll gradually increase the frequency to improve my condition.

Your skin gets used to it if you shave frequently. I had really sensitive skin in the beginning as well, but since we had to shave every day I pretty quickly ended up not having to use any creams unless I was treating myself to soft skin before going out anyways

Personally I recommend the Gillete Fusion, works really good for full body shaving, my advice is to never go for womens razors couse they are just fucking garbage and they're designed to be duller then mens and cost more anyway. The reason they're duller is because womens hair is a lot thinner and so is the skin, so they make the blades slightly more duller, even though it just kind of makes them shitter.

Also, personally, for skincare:
Use Shea coconut and hibiscus shampoo, wash your hair every 2 days (otherwise your hair starts freaking the fuck out that you're getting rid of oil really quickly and starts producing even more of it which just damages your hair even more.) and the routine you want to do is 2 shampoo then conditioner.
Use Shea butter for your body and face, makes your skin really soft and smooth.
Avoid shampoo's with sulfates in them, of any kind, they're shit and damage your hair.
Use about 2 exfoliants in the shower for your face.
Use olive oil soap, it acts as an exfoliant as well as soap and can get rid of dead skin cells before you shave, which reduces the chances of razor bumps or ingrown hairs.
I also use stuff to get rid of ingrown hairs if I get anyway, they're usually reall cheap and easy to use, just avoid shaving 24 hours before and after you use them.
Be sure to wash your bedding regularly as that can also contribute to spots and other stuff, especially pillows.
And be sure to have a healthy diet.

Namaste.

You never got taught how to shave? Not a roast, genuinely curious

I've shaved with a blunt blade for years till the Uni sent me the Gillete blade, I got carried away because it worked 100% more smoothely because I had to be careful with a blunt to prevent bleeding cuts, tbh it was smoothe and chill as fuck when I used it.

yall talking about shaving n shit im a week into not shaving to grow something more proper before service and i can tell you going from shaving twice a day just to be clean to not shaving at all is relaxing af

when talking actual shaving tho, razors are the way to go, personally i buy replacable ones in larger packs so when they get dull i can replace em, because dull razors are aids

lmao good luck not shaving during basic

You have to send in an application to be granted allowance to have one here, and from that point on you have 2 weeks to grow the desired beard (if approved). If unsatisfactory by NCOs once the two weeks have passed, you have to go clean shaven again.

Save yourself the trouble, just stick to being clean shaven. Makes getting rid of camo facepaint a lot quicker and easier, and it also helps not getting a mouthful of tear gas when you are doing CBRN training.
